Project Show Jan 09 - Recap
Project NY came and went. The show was incredible for the Live Mechanics brand. Even in the midst of the extreme NY weather, the buyers still came out to our booth to buy the spring 09 collection and preview fall 09. We weren't hard to find, people just followed the crowd. Some old friends paid us a visit, like Pieces of Brooklyn, True SF, UBIQ, UTAW and some other dope stores from the mid west and the south. Even in the hype of the show, everyone took time out to witness history in the making as our new President, Barack Obama was sworn in. It was a celebration at the Project show. We watched, we toasted and then we went back to work. Check out the slide show below.

Gorillaz - Electric Shock x Stylo/Binge x Broken

Demon Days from The Gorillaz is probably one of my favorite albums in recent memory. Therefore, I was more than excited to see some new Gorillaz material hit the net. I was even more thrilled when I saw that three new Gorillaz joints have surfaced. The songs called “Electric Shock”, “Stylo/Binge” and “Broken” are all vintage Gorillaz and should get you amped for the new album dropping this year. Check out the tracks below.
Gorillaz: Electric Shock
Gorillaz: Broken
Gorillaz: Stylo/Binge

WHO'S LIVE - COLLIE BUDDZ

He’s one of the biggest things in Reggae right now. He’s Collie Buddz, and he had a HUGE reggae hit recently with “Come Around” (look for the remix with Busta). “Come Around” has to be one of the widest reaching tunes ever, which is enough to get LM's seal of approval. We heard Collie’s “420 Mixtape”, and stamped it immediately. Big up to Harper Digital and the folks at Sony/BMG for the looks.
