Afrika Bambaata Joins Red Bull Music Academy In Washington, DC

Some of our Washington, DC FDL will be getting down at the below event Thursday. If you’re in the DC area, check it out. The Redbull music academy is a unique opportunity for budding producers, musicians and DJs to win a trip to another country (they do it in a different one every year), where they can learn from well respected professional producers and djs through workshops that are set up. Applicants are judged based on their application and a sample of their work. Past lecturers have included A-trak, Questlove, Bob Power, Arto Lindsay, King Britt, Bernard Purdie and more.
